Developing physical products takes more than an idea or a drawing

An idea or digital model is a starting point. Before investing in molds, tooling or production, materials, processes, costs, ergonomics and durability need to be assessed. That is why we examine how each proposal will be used, made and priced. Prototyping and making timely adjustments can help prevent technical problems later on.

Packaging: a design and manufacturing capability

Packaging is an active part of what we offer. Like any physical product, it must perform its functions, suit its materials and production processes, withstand transportation and be feasible to manufacture. We apply that experience to other objects, components and systems as well. Our work includes:

• Materials: Cardboard, plastics, wood and combinations chosen for the application.
• Production processes: Cutting, die-cutting, printing, thermoforming, assembly and other processes.
• Scale and cost: From prototypes to short runs or larger batches, depending on the project.
